The UKRC Geographic Database

Someone suggested on the group that it would be a good idea to create some kind of map showing where the contributors to the group live. So this section of the site is here for people to add the relevent information!

There are currently 966 ukrc contributor locations in the database.

To add your location to the map, just fill in this form:

Note: your name and email address are required fields - this is to ensure a unique key for the database, as it's possible (or even likely) that there will be more than one person from any named location or postcode. But they won't be shown on the map or published on the site at all, or used for anything other than an internal identifier.

The map is only for contributors located in the UK at the moment, excluding Northern Ireland. It also excludes the Orkneys and Shetlands, although the inner and outer Hebrides are fine as is the Isle of Wight. An international map may follow later, but at the moment you must have a mainland UK postcode to be able to add your location.
