The Bible - Word Of God?

Posted by Dave Hyden on 2000-07-30

The trouble is that if the Bible does contain the *word* of God, no one
seems to be sure which *word* of the thousands it contains is the actual
*word*.( currently many favour *donkey*, although modernists think the
answer is 42 suggesting the ommission of the word *towel* from the whole
text proves the point beyond doubt).
Some people believe that more than one word is contained within its covers,
a variation known as the *words* of God, but again disputes occur regarding
which of the words are actually Gods and which printing errors/runny ink/
splashes of ice cream etc. Sploshing (97) has suggested that samples of
Daddies Sauce found on the original texts has led to many insertions by
short sighted copyists. Recent analysis by H.P. Givitashake (in
preparation) has thrown this theory into the air amongst theologians for he
proves many of the supposed letters are in fact tomato ketchup (radiocarbon
dating showing tomato ketchup was infact used by the Hebrews 300 years
earlier than previously thought). All of this has led to many people
realizing that both God and the bible are much saucier than they had thought
producing many Christians to rush off, Bible clasped tightly, to what they
hope to be far more exciting holidays than they had expected.
